Deborah Thomas has joined Options's technical team as a Social Development Specialist. Deborah has extensive experience of health sector development and its relationship to poverty reduction, and reproductive and sexual health programmes. Deborah has expertise in the social assessment and appraisal of health sector reform programmes, equity and gender analysis, participatory development and methodologies, stakeholder analysis, citizen voice and accountability, and the role of NGOs and civil society. She has undertaken numerous assignments for DFID and the World Bank, and has worked in Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Nepal, Nigeria and Pakistan.
