The current re-organisation of the NHS presents challenges and opportunities for all health and social care agencies. Services are under pressure to not only be patient-centered, streamlined and make efficiency gains, but they also have to be able to demonstrate and measure the improvements that they have made. QIPP is a cornerstone of the government’s drive to make the NHS take a more preventative and patient-centred approach.
Options UK’s work adopts a collaborative approach to service improvements, supporting organisations to identify efficient and practical solutions to meeting the needs of the local population. In the current climate, solutions need to be cost-effective and sustainable.
