Team Leader, Technical Assistance to the Reproductive and Child Health Plan, Sierra Leone

 
Stuart King leads the DFID-funded Technical Assistance to the Reproductive and Child Health Plan, Sierra Leone, which provides support to the Government of Sierra Leone.

Stuart is a senior health services manager with 20 years’ experience managing organisations and programmes. Stuart is experienced at leading health sector reforms at both policy and implementation levels and developing institutional and organisational capacity.

Prior to working in Sierra Leone, Stuart worked in Nigeria with the Ministry of Health advising the AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria Task Ministerial Force to achieve coordination and partner support with other Ministry programmes. Also in Nigeria, Stuart worked with the National Agency for the Control of AIDS to support the strengthening of its management and operations. Prior to his work in Nigeria, Stuart provided health systems and hospital management expertise to programmes in South East Asia.
