Munirat Ogunlayi leads Options’ work on the DFID Enhancing Nigeria’s Response to HIV & AIDS Programme, 2009–2014.  Options is leading the programme output to strengthen the stewardship and coordination role of federal and state governments for an effective, multi-sectoral and evidence-based HIV & AIDS response.

Prior to her work on this programme, Munirat has supported health and HIV & AIDS programmes through providing expertise in design, planning, management and evaluations to programmes in African countries. Munirat has worked with governments, development agencies and NGOs over the past 15 years. Munirat is a trained nurse midwife and has a PhD in Medical Sociology.
