Health Sector Specialist
Chris Vickery has over 15 years’ experience in policy development, health systems and MNH programmes with a range of appropriate aid instruments on behalf of DFID and other bilateral and multi-lateral agencies. In West Bengal, India, Chris supported the development of the health strategy over two-years, which led to significant DFID funding (£100M). Chris has led MNH programme designs, implementations and evaluations in Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Nepal, Tanzania, and Yemen including TA for developing Nepal’s neonatal health strategy.
Chris has recently led evaluations of DFID’s country programmes in Cambodia, Indonesia and Pakistan, and is currently leading the design of the DFID-funded health sector reform programme in Bihar, India.
