Rachel Grellier is a social development specialist with experience of HIV & AIDS, gender, reproductive and sexual health. She has led situation/impact assessments, output-to-purpose reviews (OPRs), evaluations and reviews and is experienced in using a range of methods to obtain household, community and stakeholder perspectives. She has undertaken consultancies and research on national and multi-sectoral socio-economic impacts of HIV & AIDS and mitigation strategies in southern, east, central and west Africa.

 

Rachel has experience in reviewing and evaluating issues of gender, equity, rights, poverty etc. within projects and programmes. Rachel also has over ten years' expertise in the UK and overseas designing, undertaking, managing and supervising research studies on HIV & AIDS and maternal and reproductive health. Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, Rachel is is also Options' regional representative for Southern Africa.
