Contraceptive landscape assessment and development of a market sizing model
In India, women have limited choice over the methods they have access to with the need for contraception often unmet. Options undertook a landscape assessment to evaluate the contraceptive market in India, to explore policy and trends in contraceptive use over recent years and to explore the potential demand for contraceptive methods that are not widely available in the market currently. A model to estimate the potential market size for a contraceptive method was also developed by Options. Options conducted this analysis on behalf of a non-profit pharmaceutical company who aim to expand access to affordable women’s health products, including contraception, so that any woman who desires it can afford it.
